What the View Channel Controls
The propose_chart_changes tool is not only for drawings and indicators — it also carries a view configuration: symbol, timeframe, chart type (candles, bars, and so on), visible range, and session (regular or extended). Each proposed change is confirmation-gated, and view changes are handled the same way as any other proposal.

Can the AI change my chart without asking?
No. View changes are confirmation-gated like every other proposed change. You approve before the chart updates, unless you explicitly mark a source as always-allow.
Does setting the view touch my IBKR account?
