Where your credentials live

Trading
Read only. MyLinedChart never places, modifies or cancels an order.
  • Connect Fyers with your own credentials. You provide an access token, and it is stored on your device rather than sent to us.
  • Draw your levels, zones and notes on Fyers data, and they stay attached to the chart with their real dates and prices.
  • Export the whole chart as XLSX, CSV or JSON, with drawings, notes, indicator values and bars carried out together.
  • Hand the live Fyers chart to an AI agent you already use, including Claude, Codex, Cursor and GitHub Copilot in VS Code.

Set up Fyers

You need a FYERS trading account.

Cost: FYERS gives historical data, quotes and live data to all clients at no charge.

  1. Open myapi.fyers.in/dashboard and create an app with a Redirect URL and the Market Data permission turned on.
  2. Copy the App ID (it looks like XXXXXXXX-100) and the Secret ID.
  3. Open the FYERS generate-authcode link with your App ID and Redirect URL, log in and copy the auth_code from the address you land on.
  4. Exchange the auth_code for an access token through the FYERS validate-authcode call.
  5. Join the two values as your App ID, a colon and the access token.
  6. In MyLinedChart, open Data Providers, choose Fyers, paste the appId:accessToken value and click Connect.

How long it lasts: The access token lasts for the trading day. Generate a new one each day and paste it in.

Good to know

  • Minute data goes back to July 2017.
  • 10 requests per second, 200 per minute and 100,000 per day.
  • Going over the per minute limit more than 3 times in a day blocks you for the rest of that day.
