For traders who already have the thesis

You know where the levels go. Stop drawing them.

Say the level once and it lands on the chart, at your number, labelled, waiting for you to accept it. No analysis. No suggestions. No opinion you did not ask for.

Every mark says who put it there. A month later the record still knows.

The Problem

The Thinking Was the Fast Part

The Analysis Took Ten Minutes. The Drawing Took Thirty.

You knew the level before you opened the chart. Then you spent the rest of the session finding it on the axis, dragging a line to it, extending it right, and doing that again on the next four symbols.

Redrawing the Same Lines Every Session

The levels that mattered last month still matter. Somewhere between platforms, timeframes, and a reinstall, they stopped being on the chart, so you draw them again from memory and hope you got the number right.

Every Tool Wants to Give You an Opinion

The AI charting tools all want to tell you what they think. You did not ask. You have a thesis, it took years to build, and you are not looking for a second one from a model that has not read your notes.

How It Works

Four Steps, and You Are in Charge of Three of Them

1. Say It

Type or say the level in your own words. "Resistance at 401.20." "Trend line off the March low through the June high." "Demand zone 388 to 391." It uses your numbers, not its own.

2. See It Land

The line appears at exactly the value you named, anchored to real prices rather than sketched by eye, with the date and price stored alongside it.

3. Approve It

Nothing goes on the chart without you accepting it. Every mark carries a label saying whether you drew it or the AI did, so a month from now the record still tells you which is which.

4. Keep It

The levels stay attached to the symbol, and export as XLSX, CSV or JSON with the numbers attached, so next session starts where this one ended.

What It Will Not Do

The Limits Are the Feature

It Will Not Give You a View

It does not scan for support, propose targets, or tell you what the chart is doing. You supply the analysis. It supplies the hands.

It Will Not Move Without You

Every change is confirmation-gated. You can also restrict it to editing only its own marks and never yours, and change that at any time.

It Will Not Touch an Order

MyLinedChart is read only. It never places, modifies or cancels an order, on any connected account, in any mode.

If you do want an AI that reads the chart and offers an opinion, the app can do that too. It is a different mode and you have to turn it on. See AI chart access.

Your Data, Your Keys

Bring the Broker You Already Pay For

Connect the account you already use, with your own credentials, stored on your device and sent only to the provider you chose. Interactive Brokers, Charles Schwab, Alpaca, OANDA, Zerodha and many more, plus five crypto venues that need no credentials at all. See the full provider list.

The AI is whichever one you already use. Drive the chart from Claude, Codex, Cursor or GitHub Copilot in VS Code, or paste your own key into the app. You pay your provider directly, we never see your key, and we add no markup.

Questions

Before You Try It

Does the AI decide where the levels go?

No, and that is the point of this page. You name the level and it places it at your number. It does not scan for support, suggest a target, or offer a view. If you want an AI that analyses the chart with you, that exists in the app too, but it is a different mode and you have to ask for it.

How do I know it drew what I actually said?

You approve every change before it lands, and every mark is labelled as yours or the AI's. Because levels are stored as real prices rather than pixels, you can also read the value straight back off the object list and check it against what you said.

Which AI does it use?

Whichever one you already use. Connect Claude, Codex, Cursor or GitHub Copilot in VS Code and drive the chart from there, or paste your own Claude, Gemini or OpenAI key into the app. You pay your provider directly and we add no markup.

Do I have to use AI at all?

No. Every drawing tool works by hand, and plenty of people never turn the AI on. This page exists for the specific case where you already know the answer and only want the typing done faster.

Can it place a trade once the level is drawn?

No. MyLinedChart is read only. It never places, modifies or cancels an order and it never touches your money. It draws, it exports, and it stops there.

Which brokers and data feeds does this work with?

Your own. Connect the broker or market-data account you already pay for, including Interactive Brokers, Charles Schwab, Alpaca and many more, with your keys stored on your device. Five crypto venues need no credentials at all.

Draw the First One and See

Open a chart on a symbol you follow, name a level you already know, and watch where it lands. It takes about ten seconds to find out whether this saves you anything.

MyLinedChart is a charting and analysis tool. It is read only, it is not a broker, and nothing in the app is financial, investment or trading advice.
