ICICI Direct

Connect ICICI Direct to MyLinedChart with your own credentials, chart it, mark it up, and export your analysis as XLSX, CSV or JSON.

• Connect ICICI Direct with your own credentials. You provide a key and session token, and it is stored on your device rather than sent to us.
• Draw your levels, zones and notes on ICICI Direct data, and they stay attached to the chart with their real dates and prices.
• Export the whole chart as XLSX, CSV or JSON, with drawings, notes, indicator values and bars carried out together.
• Hand the live ICICI Direct chart to an AI agent you already use, including Claude, Codex, Cursor and GitHub Copilot in VS Code.

Set up ICICI Direct

You need an ICICI Direct trading account.

Cost: The Breeze API is free, including historical data.

1. Log in at api.icicidirect.com/apiuser/home with your ICICI Direct details.
2. Register an app with a name and the Redirect URL https://127.0.0.1.
3. Open View Apps and copy the API Key.
4. Open api.icicidirect.com/apiuser/login?api_key=<your API key>, log in and copy the API_Session value from the address bar.
5. In MyLinedChart, open Data Providers, choose ICICI Direct (Breeze), paste the API key (App key) and the API session (from today's login link) and click Connect.
6. Type ICICI stock codes in the symbol box, such as RELIND or BSE:RELIND. There is no symbol search for ICICI.

How long it lasts: The session ends at midnight IST. Open the login link again each day and paste the new API session. The app turns it into the session token for you.

Good to know

• 100 requests per minute and 5,000 per day.
• Intervals are 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes and 1 day.
• Prices are not adjusted for corporate actions.
