Read only. MyLinedChart never places, modifies or cancels an order.
  • Connect Kotak Securities with your own credentials. You provide a key and session token, and it is stored on your device rather than sent to us.
  • Draw your levels, zones and notes on Kotak Securities data, and they stay attached to the chart with their real dates and prices.
  • Export the whole chart as XLSX, CSV or JSON, with drawings, notes, indicator values and bars carried out together.
  • Hand the live Kotak Securities chart to an AI agent you already use, including Claude, Codex, Cursor and GitHub Copilot in VS Code.

Set up Kotak Securities

You need a Kotak Neo trading account.

Cost: The Kotak Neo Trade API is free at present.

  1. Open the Kotak Neo app or website.
  2. Go to More, then TradeAPI, then API Dashboard.
  3. Click Create Application.
  4. Copy the token shown.
  5. In MyLinedChart, open Data Providers, choose Kotak Neo, paste the API Dashboard token and click Connect.

How long it lasts: Kotak does not list an expiry for the token. If charts stop loading, copy the token again from the API Dashboard.

Good to know

  • You do not need TOTP or MPIN for charts.
  • 1 to 5 minute bars cover 30 days per request, and daily and weekly bars 180 days.
  • History covers NSE and BSE cash and F&O, active contracts only.
