  • Connect Saxo with your own credentials. You provide an access token, and it is stored on your device rather than sent to us.
  • Draw your levels, zones and notes on Saxo data, and they stay attached to the chart with their real dates and prices.
  • Export the whole chart as XLSX, CSV or JSON, with drawings, notes, indicator values and bars carried out together.
  • Hand the live Saxo chart to an AI agent you already use, including Claude, Codex, Cursor and GitHub Copilot in VS Code.

Set up Saxo

You need a free Saxo developer account for Simulation, or a funded Saxo account for Live.

Cost: The developer account is free. A plain Simulation account gets forex prices only, unless you link it to a live Saxo account.

  1. Create a Simulation account at developer.saxo/accounts/sim/signup.
  2. Log in and open the Get 24 Hour Token page at developer.saxo/openapi/token.
  3. Copy the token.
  4. For Live, fund your Saxo account, open Live Apps in the developer portal and request a live app.
  5. In MyLinedChart, open Data Providers, choose Saxo Bank, set Account type to Simulation or Live, paste the Access token and click Connect.

How long it lasts: The Simulation token lasts 24 hours and cannot be refreshed. Get a new one from the token page each day and paste it in.

Good to know

  • A 24 hour token only works with Simulation.
  • Simulation shows forex prices only unless it is linked to a live account. Other markets show delayed data there.
  • 120 requests per minute per service group.
