Terms of Service

The Short Version

MyLinedChart is charting and analysis software. It is not financial advice, and it does not tell you what to trade. We do not supply market data — you connect your own broker or data provider with your own credentials, and that data stays on your machine. Subscriptions renew until you cancel. Trading involves risk, and decisions you make are your own.

Not Financial Advice

MyLinedChart is a tool for visualising and annotating market data. Nothing in the Service — including charts, indicators, drawings, exports, or any output produced with the help of an AI assistant you connect — constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, a solicitation, or an offer to buy or sell any security or financial instrument.

We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial planner, and we do not execute trades. You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions. Trading carries risk, including the loss of your entire capital. Past performance never guarantees future results.

You Bring Your Own Data

MyLinedChart does not sell, resell, or supply market data. To chart live data you connect your own account with a broker or market-data provider (for example Interactive Brokers, Alpaca, Polygon, or others) using your own API credentials. Your subscription pays for the software's ability to work with the data you already have access to — it does not include the data itself.

• Your credentials are stored on your own device. We do not receive or store your broker or data-provider API keys.
• Your use of any third-party data remains subject to that provider's own agreement, including any market-data subscriptions, redistribution limits, and exchange fees. You are responsible for complying with them.
• Data accuracy, availability, and timeliness are determined by your provider, not by us. We do not warrant that data displayed in the Service is accurate, complete, or delivered without delay.

AI Features

The Service can connect to an AI assistant using an API key you supply from a provider of your choice (such as Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI). We do not provide the AI model and we do not pay for or proxy your usage — requests go directly from your device to your chosen provider, billed by them to you, under their terms.

AI output can be wrong. Anything it produces is a starting point for your own judgement, never a recommendation, and you remain responsible for reviewing it before acting.

Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

Subscriptions, Billing and Cancellation

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends.
• Cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
• Subscriptions bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by that store and must be managed and cancelled in your Apple or Google account settings, under their refund policies.
• We may change pricing. Changes apply to subsequent billing periods, and we will give reasonable notice before they take effect.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or market data obtained through it.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law.
• Circumvent or interfere with licensing, authentication, or access controls.
• Use the Service unlawfully, or in breach of your data provider's or broker's terms.
• Disrupt or place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

Account Sharing, Users and Devices

A subscription is licensed to one account holder. Accounts are for individual or properly licensed use, and account credentials must not be shared with, sold to, or used by people outside the subscription.

We reserve the right, at any time and at our sole discretion, to introduce and enforce limits on the number of users, devices, installations, or simultaneous active sessions permitted per account, and to require additional seats or licences for additional users. We may apply those limits to existing subscriptions on reasonable notice. We may also suspend or terminate accounts where credential sharing or other misuse is detected.

Advertising in the Free Tier

We reserve the right, at any time and at our sole discretion, to display advertising, sponsored content, or other promotional material within the free tier of the Service, with or without prior notice. We may introduce, change, or remove such advertising at any time, and we may apply it to existing free accounts.

Paid subscriptions are not subject to this while the subscription is active. If you would rather not see advertising, a paid plan is the alternative, and you may stop using the free tier at any time.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to Little Bird Trading LLC and is protected by law. Your subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while it is active. Content you create — your drawings, layouts, notes, and exports — remains yours.

Availability

We aim for a dependable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the Service. Where a change is material and affects a paid plan, we will give reasonable notice.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty as to the accuracy or timeliness of market data supplied by third parties.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Little Bird Trading LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or trading losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — do so.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
