Upstox

Connect Upstox to MyLinedChart with your own credentials, chart the data, mark the chart up, and export your analysis as XLSX, CSV or JSON.

• Connect Upstox with your own credentials. You provide an access token, and the credentials stay on your device rather than being sent to us.
• Draw your levels, zones and notes on Upstox data, and they stay attached to the chart with their dates and prices.
• Export the whole chart as XLSX, CSV or JSON, with drawings, notes, indicator values and bars carried out together.
• Hand the live Upstox chart to an AI agent you already use, including Claude, Codex, Cursor and GitHub Copilot in VS Code.

Set up Upstox

You need an Upstox account.

Cost: Upstox trading and data APIs are free. The Analytics Token is free too.

1. Open account.upstox.com/developer/apps and log in.
2. Open the Analytics tab.
3. Click Generate Token, then Confirm.
4. Click the copy icon next to the token.
5. In MyLinedChart, open Data Providers, choose Upstox, paste the Access token and click Connect.

How long the access lasts: The Analytics Token lasts one year. When it ends, generate a new one on the Analytics tab and paste it in.

Good to know

• Minute and hour bars go back to January 2022, daily and longer to January 2000.
• 50 requests per second and 500 per minute.
• The Analytics Token is read only.
