Its AI is Sidekick, and Sidekick lives inside TrendSpider.
Is There a TrendSpider MCP Server?
Not an official one. TrendSpider's developer page is about building inside TrendSpider: its scripting language is JavaScript, its studies run across charts, backtests, scanners and alerts, and scripts can fetch outside data from APIs. It also offers a Sidekick coding assistant, which TrendSpider says is powered by Anthropic's Claude.
What the page does not describe is the other direction: an MCP server, a public REST API, or any way for an agent you run, such as Claude Code or Cursor, to read your TrendSpider charts. What TrendSpider Offers Instead: Sidekick
Sidekick is TrendSpider's AI market analyst. TrendSpider describes it as a chatbot built for market research that can see charts, read indicators, analyse fundamentals and pull SEC filings, with access to TrendSpider's data library.
It is priced separately from the platform. Every plan includes 25 Sidekick messages a month. Beyond that TrendSpider lists 100 messages for $49, 300 for $129 and 1,000 for $349 a month. The platform itself runs $82, $137, $183 or $321 a month on monthly billing, with data add-ons such as real-time futures at $7.50 a month.

Why Traders Want Their Own AI Instead
Most people searching for a TrendSpider MCP already pay for an AI. They want the assistant they use for code, spreadsheets and journaling to see their chart too, instead of a second AI with a separate bill and a separate memory.
There is also control. With your own AI you choose the model, keep the conversation history, and can hand the chart data to a script or a backtest you wrote. A platform assistant is designed to keep that work inside the platform.
Routes That Do Connect Your Own AI to a Chart
If a TrendSpider MCP does not exist, what does? There are three realistic routes in September 2026.

The honest comparison is not TrendSpider against MyLinedChart as platforms. TrendSpider has far more built-in analysis. It is about whose AI works on your chart.

Stay with Sidekick if TrendSpider's built-in scanning, backtesting and automated trendlines are the heart of your process and you are happy to pay per message for an assistant that knows the platform.
