Siri AI is built into Apple devices that support Apple Intelligence, and MyLinedChart can use it to answer questions about your chart. There is nothing to sign up for and your questions stay on the device. MyLinedChart works out the numbers from the chart on screen and Siri AI explains them. Siri can also open a symbol or draw a line by voice.

What you need

A Mac, iPhone or iPad that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings and its model finished downloading, plus the MyLinedChart app on that device.

Turn on Siri AI in MyLinedChart, step by step

  • Open MyLinedChart and click AI in the chart toolbar. If the AI panel shows a chat instead of the setup, click AI settings.
  • At the top of the setup, find the section named Siri AI on your Mac (or iPhone, iPad). If it is missing, your device has not reported Siri AI as ready; see What you need.
  • Click Use Siri AI. The button changes to Siri AI answers in the AI box.
  • Type a question in the Ask your AI box at the top of the AI panel and press Return.
  • You can also ask Siri by voice: say “Show a symbol in MyLinedChart” or “Draw a line in MyLinedChart”.

How answers work

MyLinedChart reads the chart on screen and computes the facts: the latest close, the range high and low, your drawn levels and how far price sits from each. Siri AI receives those facts with your question and writes a short explanation. Every number comes from the app, so Siri AI is not guessing prices from memory.

How drawing works

Ask for a drawing, such as draw support and resistance, and MyLinedChart builds a numbered list of options from your candles: the highest high, the lowest low, the latest close, the average close, the recent high and low, a trend line between the swing low and high, and a Fibonacci retracement across the same swing. Levels you have already drawn are left out. Siri AI picks the numbers that fit, and MyLinedChart draws them and tells you what it drew. Undo removes them like any drawing.

Questions to try

  • What is the trend on this chart?
  • How far is price from my nearest level?
  • Draw support and resistance.
  • Draw a Fibonacci retracement on the last swing.

Limits

Siri AI is a small model that runs on the device, so keep questions short and about the chart in front of you. For long conversations or code, connect a bigger AI app: How to Connect Claude to MyLinedChart (Claude Desktop and Claude Code) or How to Connect ChatGPT Desktop to MyLinedChart. MyLinedChart never places, modifies or cancels an order; account access is read-only.

FAQ

Why don't I see Siri AI in MyLinedChart?

MyLinedChart shows it only when the device says Siri AI is ready. Check that Apple Intelligence is on in Settings and has finished downloading, then reopen the AI panel.

Do my questions leave the device?

No. Siri AI runs on the device, and MyLinedChart sends it the question and the chart facts locally.

Can Siri AI trade for me?

No. Orders are read-only and no tool can place, change or cancel one.
